Refund and Returns Policy

This policy applies to orders sold by Hong Kong Hongyu Shangmao Limited / 香港鴻宇商貿有限公司 through hongyushangmao.com. It does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Order cancellation

You may request cancellation before dispatch. Once an order has shipped, the return rules below apply. Contact us promptly with the order number.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Inspect the parcel when it arrives. Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery if an item is damaged, defective, materially different from its description or incorrect. Provide the order number and clear photographs of the parcel, label and item. After verification, we will offer an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy and will cover reasonable return shipping where a return is required.

Change-of-mind returns

Contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, complete, in resalable condition and in their original sealed packaging. Customers pay change-of-mind return shipping and are responsible for the parcel until received.

Food and hygiene exclusions

Opened tea, food or other sealed consumable products cannot be returned for change of mind because of health and hygiene requirements. This exclusion does not apply when the item is defective, damaged, unsafe, incorrect or otherwise subject to a mandatory legal remedy.

Gua sha tools

A gua sha tool may be returned within the 14-day period if unused, clean, complete and in its original packaging. Used items cannot be returned for change of mind for hygiene reasons. Defective, damaged or incorrect items remain eligible for the remedies above.

Return process

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 10 business days after approval or receipt and inspection of the return. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit. Original shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns. If the refund is for our error or a defective, damaged or incorrect item, applicable standard shipping charges will also be refunded.
